A local homegrown hotelier chain known as PK Group of Hotels & Apartments has come up from the small city of Noida, A city next to the capital of India Delhi. This chain of Hotels & Apartments has a presence in 4 cities now, Noida, Delhi, Gurugram & Faridabad. With no investments from Venture Capitalists or any Big Investor, this small Hotel chain is growing its presence fastly predominantly in North India focussed on the corporate segment giving tough competition to OyoRooms, Treebo, FabHotels, Siesta Hospitality, Royal Orchid, Tivoli Hotels amongst other Hotel chains.

Focussing their entire efforts to customer experience with end to end solutions, this Hotelier promises to deliver quality Hotels at reasonable price points. With two new Hotels in the pipeline in 2021, PK Group of Hotels has not let the pandemic also stop its expansion plans. It is continuing its opening of the Hotels & Apartments as planned. 

Speaking to Mr. Rohan Malhotra, Vp of Marketing, PK Group - After the pandemic occupancy dropped significantly. We were totally a corporate driven hotelier chain with major focus of business cities in Northern India. Prior to the Pandemic, Our Business was growing at 40% YOY for the past 5 years. However with the sudden lockdown due to the pandemic, business for reduced completely. The revival has been very slow considering corporate travel hasnt really picked up even after 1.5 years however with our focus on customer experience, We have diverisfied into other segments like Social Bookings & more into Online Travel Agents, Couple Friendly Hotels & Direct Bookings. This was a huge change for the management because dealing with corporates and social's guests are completely different in terms of service and requirement however with the 4 decade experience our professional teams brings we were able to do the same effortlessly. Also our Hotels focussed on customer safety and sanitisation bringing Industry First practises like 24 hours vacation gap between occupied rooms. Same has not been followed still by any major hotel chains but we realised that safety of our customers and employees was most important and same was done even due to this pur revenues had taken a major hit.

In Noida, PK Group of Hotels has 4 Hotels namely 1. Hotel PK Residency, Sector 27 Noida 2. PK Boutique Hotel, Sector 104 Noida 3. PK Budget Hotel, Sector 104 Noida 4. PK Apart Hotel, Sector 46 Noida. We are the only Hotelier or Individual chain not to be associated with Oyorooms. Reason for us not to be associated with the same is not that we are not a couple friendly hotelier chain but the major reason is that we don't agree with the working and commitments of that Company. We made a mistake having a tie up for one of our Hotels with OyoRooms as at that time the management considered them as an OTA just like Ibibo, Makemytrip, Agoda, Booking.com, Expedia however to our surprise they were not like them at all. The illegal practises done by OyoRooms in respect of payments, customer experience, vendor experience & taxation is inexplissible and so we broke the tie up with them immediately. 

PK Group of Hotels has its name from its founder, Late Sh. Pradeep Kapoor who laid policies of clear conduct in business with the focus on customer experience. We follow the same till date and will do forever and we will grow slow or fast but out motto will never change. Reason why we didn't take Investors on board and grow exponentialy is because we wanted organic growth so the main motto can remain in place for all our coworkers who are like family. Even after the pandemic, We have reached more then 50% Occupancy accross properties and we believe the best for the Hospitality sector is yet to come. India is and will continue to grow exponentially and the major beneficiary of the same will be the hospitality sector. PK Group of Hotels expansion plans is on having small Hotels with Inventory of 30Rooms to 60 Rooms accross different locations as customers continue to be location, quality & pricing centric and we will keep on delivering the same.
