PK Group of Hotels has started there new hotel namely PK Budget Hotel in Link Road Sector 104 Noida. This is the first time that they have started a Hotel in a Budget category with a promise of Rooms starting at 999-/- but with the same promise of quality that goes with the PK Group brand. 

Speaking to Times, Mr. Rohan Malhotra, CEO of PK Group said "The budget segment below Rs. 1000-/- was never our foray and in the past decade we focussed on boutique properties accross our network of the National Capital Region of Delhi (NCR) to make boutique properties which create an  enriching experience for customers at valuable price points. Our motto was quality and service of a 4Star Hotel, with price points of a 3Star Hotel. We achieved this with our excellant cost cutting mechanisms in Staffing, procurements & budget controls. Our major clientelle was multinationals thus pricing was never a big concern. 

But to grow further into 200 Hotels by 2024, We have decided that we cannot rely only on Multinationals because after Covid'19, Corporates will never come back to PreCorona Travel atleast in the next 3-4 years. So for growth, It  was important for us to explore other avenues. So, We did a lot of brainstorming in 2020 and the major belief amongst all the directors was that some change in path is required in case we are to even reach close to our pre-corona targets. So once it was agreed that paths had to be changed, the most certain path was to indulge in the highest growth area in the hotel segment i.e. Rooms from Rs. 999-/- to Rs. 1,500-/-.

We explored the market and only found small shabby hotels mostly listed with OYO as our competition. So thus the aim was to start a Hotel in this price point however to make sure our brand name is kept high even at such low prices. With indepth research on costs, property expansion we decided to start PK Budget Hotel with 70 Rooms in the upcoming area of Noida i.e. Sector 104 which is quite bustling near to universities, colleges, companies, hospitals & major societies thus the new city centre we have started this Hotel in the hub of Noida. This Hotel offers a never offered experience at this price points.

However to make all this possible we had to work on margins, and the only way we could make this possible was to start a new policy which to the best of my knowlegde hasn't been adopted by any Hotel chain in the World or India. This policy is not to sell our Hotel through Online Travel Agents or Websites like Goibibo, Yatra, Expedia, Cleartrip, Booking.com, zenhotels.com, Easemytrip etc; Also this will be the only hotel in this city not to be listed with Oyorooms or fabhotels in this budget.
