With the end of the second wave in India, opening of schools & universities, markets & malls, multiplexes & gymnasiums, Now the Entire Hotel Industry is awaiting opening of Multinational Corporations thus leading to a revival in Corporate Travel. To give a brief, prior to the Covid-19 pandemic Corporate Travel was the major occupancy booster for cities like Noida, Gurugram, Bangaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai etc. Howewer with the pandemic the revenue from this Industry fell to literally zero and the Entire Industry went into a depression of untold magnitutes. Hotels are one of the major employement generators in the entire country third only to Agriculture & Information Technology but considering it has a lot of unorganized sector so that makes it the second largest employement generators to Agriculture. With no support from either the government or there customers, not even recognition of the sufferings the pandemic has caused to this sector, the revival of the sector to old times seems to be a long journey.
Speaking to Mr. Ashish Mishra, General Manager PK Boutique Hotel, Hotels Industry will revive after opening of offices on September 1, 2021. The revival will be slow but we are taking all inititatives to boost travel demand taking all safety precautions and introducing state of art measures, like app to order rooms & food, Self Check In & Check Out Services, Vaccinated Employees, RT PCT of all Employees bimonthly making sure customer travel confidence come to Normal thus that is the only thing which is critical to recovery in corporate travel.
