There has been a lot of change in customer behaviour since the Covid pandemic hit the globe. One such change has been witnessed in the Banquet & Wedding Industry. Prior to the pandemic, Customers used to book huge guest list for there wedding so individual Farm Houses & Banquets used to be the major beneficiary as they had a lot of area and thus number of people and space for decoration was there to play with the creativity. 

However things changed rampantly post the Coronavirus pandemic. With guest list getting shorter even in some cases government capping the limit of maximum guest, So people booking there wedding started preferring Hotels as most people decided to stay and have all prewedding & wedding functions in one place to ensure safety and better operations.

One of the major beneficairy of this change in customer behaviour, has been PK Boutique Hotel, Sector 104 Noida owned & managed by PK Group of Hotels & Apartments. Having more then 150 rooms, 5 banquets options, spread accross 5 acres with Gymnasium & swimming pool, this Hotel has been hosting marraiges during the whole pandemic, ensuring safety protocols of highest priority, all employees are in-house with no interation with the outside world this is one of the main reasons of there survival. 

Speaking to us, Mr. Dhingra Director at PK Group informed us that rather then booking destination weddings in Rajasthan, Goa or other destination guest are prefering to book destination weddings in there cities only. Because going to far away destinations has logistical challenges and different state Covid protocols guest prefer booking Hotels in there nearby locations thus giving them flexibility. Covid-19 has changed the entire hospitality, travel & hotel industry upside down. It is a survival fight now and all hotels in cities which had high pricings have reduced them manifolds to become competitive and thus leading to higher occupancy levels.
