Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a self-regulating business model that helps a company be socially accountable — to itself, its stakeholders, and the public. Reduce carbon footprints to mitigate climate change. Improve labour policies and embrace fair trade. Engage in charitable giving and volunteer efforts within your community. These are the most common examples of corporate social responsibility.

India is the first country in the world to make corporate social responsibility (CSR) mandatory, following an amendment to the Companies Act, 2013 in April 2014. Businesses can invest their profits in areas such as education, poverty, gender equality, and hunger as part of any CSR compliance.

PK Group of Hotels & Apartments supports a number of initiatives, as below:

* Donates to Friendicoes Seca, an animal welfare organisation working for stray animal.

* PK Seeds of Change is a tree plantation drive where PK Group engaged the society to pledge plantation of trees. PK Group planted close to 1,000 trees in Greater Noida on behalf of all those who pledged on the initiative.

* Professional Hotel Education: PK Group supports underprivileged children of society by providing them with an opportunity to learn and make a career in the hospitality sector. Candidates receive hands-on training in a real working environment in various departments, but also capsule courses in communication skills, personality development, and computer skills by internal and external trainers. PK Group personally ensures that the training provided is absolutely in sync with the industry requirement.

* Donation towards Kerala flood relief to support those affected by the floods.
